Australian cabaret performer, Kim David Smith, returns to the Neue Galerie for Halloween (October 31)! Conjuring the glitter, doom, and decadence of 1930's Berlin, Smith explores the works of Weill, Hollaender and Spoliansky, intermingled with transformed treasures from the likes of Kylie Minogue, Madonna, and the Supremes in a fabulous, neo-Weimar cabaret fantasia. Tracy Stark accompanies on piano.
The 9pm performance is preceded by a prix-fixe menu (by the brilliant Kurt Gutenbrunner) at 7 p.m. Ticket cost is $140 per person. ($65/person performance fee charged upon booking; dinner $75/person, charged on the evening of the performance). Tax, gratuity, and beverages are not included.
