Kim sings Kylie in Sydney!

  • Seymore Centre Seymore Centre, City Road & Cleveland Street Chippendale, NSW, 2008 Australia (map)

New York based cabaret performer Kim David Smith salutes perennial pop goddess, Kylie Minogue, with an intimately fabulous cabaret-fantasia, celebrating Kylie’s catalogue of gargantuan hits and glittering deep cuts, from 1987’s “Locomotion,” all the way through to 2018’s “Golden.” Labeled the “male Marlene Dietrich” by the New York Times, Smith deconstructs three decades of Minogue dance anthems, with music direction by the multi-Award winning Brian Nash, and with costumes by Miodrag Guberinic (Katy Perry, Madonna, Nicki Minaj).

Kim will be appearing as part of the inaugural Sydney Cabaret Festival, in the Tillbury room at Sydney’s Seymore Centre July 12, 13, and 14!

Kim David Smith sings Kylie Minogue's All the Lovers at Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in New York City, March 2, 2019. Tracy Stark accompanies on piano, with Skip Ward on bass. We hope you enjoy our cover of All the Lovers (from Kylie's 2010 album, Aphrodite), as performed in "Kim sings Kylie" and on this occasion, presented during "Morphium Kabarett."
