Kim David Smith returns to Café Sabarsky at the Neue Galerie, Thursday, April 28, conjuring the glitter, doom, and decadence of 1920’s Berlin with an intimate, musical portrait of heartbreak in the Weimar period through the works of Kurt Weill, Mischa Spoliansky, Friedrich Hollander, Kylie Minogue, and many unexpected others.

Mr. Smith will be accompanied by Steven Ray Watkins on piano.

The program begins at 9 PM, preceded by a prix-fixe dinner at 7 PM.
