I'm very excited to announce my brand new Monday night musical salon, "Morphium Kabarett," premiering on May 2nd at NYC's premier intimate nightspot, Pangea!
Described as “the David Bowie of cabaret” (BroadwayWorld.com), host Kim David Smith conjures the glitter, doom, and decadence of 1920’s Berlin with “Morphium Kabarett,” a weekly, Monday night salon featuring special musical guests from the worlds of opera, cabaret, pop, and beyond.
Named for the sensual, Spoliansky-penned waltz (famously danced to by a nude Anita Berber), Morphium Kabarett is musically directed by Tracy Stark (“Superb, virtuosic pianist” - New York Post), and features the music of Hollaender, Weill, and Spoliansky, mixed with Kylie Minogue, the Supremes, and myriad unexpected others, in a neo-Weimar cabaret fantasia.
Morphium Kabarett at Pangea (178 2nd Ave, NYC) May 2, 9, 16, and 23, 9:30PM.
In other news, I was delighted to participate in Buzzfeed's "13 Reasons Why Easter Butts Are Way Better Than Easter Eggs," with my cameo appearance as a pair of Fabergé Easter eggs! I spent a fun afternoon with M.A.C Cosmetics Senior Artist, Chantel Miller, being painted, bedazzled and finally photographed for Buzzfeed's Easter editorial.

All photography is by the talented Taylor Miller. Thank you, Buzzfeed!
